About the founder
With his inherent quality of adapting to handle crisis situations and experience over a decade predominantly includes supporting and organizing start-ups in complying with the income tax laws, corporate laws, intellectual property laws and foreign exchange laws with respect to fundraising has shaped him to handle critical situations that give rise to complexities in compliance matters. Apart from corporate law compliances, he oversees and advises on laws that are applicable to start-ups. He has a unique quality of being tech-friendly, innovator and in the past he has been associated with start-ups that tried to automate the compliance and legal documents without any hassle.
He holds expertise knowledge and experience in convening Board and Shareholders meeting, amendments to the articles of association, amendment to the object clause, right issue of shares, private placement shares or debentures, buy-back of own shares, analyzing valuations and such other compliances under the corporate laws / FEMA / Trademarks. He has been part of incorporating over and above 100 companies in India, handled more than 200 plus successful trademark registrations. Before, entering into full time practise, he was associated with manufacturing companies where he had gained rich experience in handling income tax scrutiny (Search and seizure inspections) / assessments, aspects with respect to valuations which may come up during the share transfer and share allotment.
Given his expertise in the domain of Corporate laws, Foreign exchange laws, Trademarks laws and etc., makes him genuinely a unique character in the profession and Giftson heads the firm and he is a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, continuously holds a valid certificate of practise from January’ 2014, has been awarded bachelors by the Annamalai university, Chidambaram in the disciplines of commerce and general laws, and Legum Baccalaureus by the university of Rabinadranath Tagore.
